Goal
Code Beautiful initially approached me to refresh their social media presence, aiming for a more curated and professional look to boost engagement. However, as the project evolved, it became clear that a brand refresh was needed on social media and now we are just begging to use some of this creative approach in the overall identity. The challenge was to modernise and refine their branding while keeping it recognisable to loyal customers.
Approach
I refined their existing brand identity as Sarah was slightly hesitant to stray from her original branding, however, I created and pitched a new typography system, colour palette, and creative direction which felt more polished and contemporary.
I introduced the cream colour into CB social media and moved away from the clinical white backgrounds. I provided editable templates, allowing them to maintain high-quality content without ongoing design support.
