What Makes A Brand Obsession-Worthy
Annabelle

I think some brands do too much with their branding. There’s something premium and respected about brands that are restrained instead, not restrained boring, restrained clever.
The Problem With AI Logos
A lot of AI-generated logos do too much, low-key. They’re not very restrained, or sometimes they’re too restrained, there’s no in-between. Often the idea and the word itself aren’t very integrated. There’s a certain quality, certain forms, that currently only a human touch can really achieve.
Wit Fitness Gets It Right
Wit Fitness is a genuinely good example. They get the founder vision, the hybrid-athlete aesthetic, down to a T. Their logo is cleverly made, the form from the letter comes into the symbol, and there’s an energy about it. Something low-key imperfect, which makes it feel like the body in movement, but structured at the same time.
There’s something about that form that almost makes you feel something you can’t explain, even without knowing the meaning behind it.
Nice curves, but sharp angles too. That’s obsession-worthy. And it’s the same across their whole content and website, they’re selling the vision, not just the product.
If you want that for your brand, it starts with finding a designer who thinks connectively, not just designs nicely, take a look through the identities I’ve built.
