How I Use Pinterest for Lead Gen in 2026
Annabelle

I grew up on Pinterest, I still remember in my GCSE era, writing “aesthetic” next to every search.
The First Time It Actually Worked
Years ago, freelancing, I put some of my project visuals on Pinterest. One of them low-key blew up and I actually got an inquiry through it. Didn’t turn into a qualified lead, and I’ll be honest, I didn’t try that hard. But it stuck with me.
When I set up Astrik Studio properly, part of the marketing plan was giving Pinterest another go. I’m older, wiser, and I actually understand SEO now.
Real Over Polished
Part of my branding and messaging is trying to be real, trying to be me, not hiding behind an unapproachable, overly polished aesthetic. At a certain point, everything starts looking the same, and it stops feeling like real life.
What’s Actually Worked
Two of my pins picked up decent engagement and clicks within the first few months, without me even posting that consistently. Real traffic to my website, which is a win.
The practical version: repurpose, repurpose, repurpose. Know your niche, think about what your ideal client is actually asking themselves, write about it, link back.
There’s still a place for a personal touch on Pinterest, people are getting immune to fully AI-generated graphics now.
