The Future of Content Creation: The More AI Floods Everywhere, The More We Crave The Opposite
Annabelle

I’m seeing more and more of this loopy, documentary-style content doing well right now, and I think it tells you something bigger about where things are heading.
The Creators Getting It Right
Glaze Bakery have really popped off on TikTok with it, documentary style, sit down, have a chat, a bit of b-roll while speaking. Charlie Friday’s really good at this too, she’s basically immune to cringe, which, fair play to her.
It’s a bit dystopian if you think about it, honestly, the fact that we’re now looking on social media for proof of real human interaction. But I also find it really charming.
Why The Unpolished Stuff Wins
We’re becoming more and more immune to anything that feels like an ad. The people who’ve mastered feeling completely genuine are winning right now.
If you’re nervous about camera, just have a go. Even challenge yourself to film every day without posting anywhere. The more you accept how you actually look and sound, the more you can just post it. Other people don’t see these insecurities, it’s actually just you that cares about them.
Curious how this shows up in my own content? Have a browse through the rest of the blog.
